With the aspiration of bringing curative drug therapies and visionary healthcare solutions to patients worldwide, Mr. Mauvernay is president of Après-demain, the parent company of Debiopharm, a Swiss, privately owned, biopharmaceutical company founded by his father over 40 years ago. Debiopharm, with 15 ongoing drug research programs, has developed two blockbuster therapies for cancer patients, oxaliplatin and triptorelin, along with a potential 3rd Head & Neck Cancer drug currently in phase III development with an international partner.  The holding company, Après-demain, invests in a variety of industries including companies impacting sustainable energy, education, food, & personalized services along with real estate, via 30+ direct investments in companies as well as LP investments in more than 100 funds globally. In addition, Mr. Mauvernay is the chairman of the investment committee of the Debiopharm Innovation Fund, backed by his experience as an entrepreneur in the international cosmetics industry before joining his family’s drug development business and asset diversification activities. His educational background includes a Master of Science in Economics and Marketing along with an MBA from the 'Institut d'Administration des Entreprises’.

Dr. Ducrey is CEO of Debiopharm and Senior Vice-Chairman of the Life Science activities of Après-demain, a privately-owned, mid-size biopharmaceutical company focusing on the development of novel oncology and infectious disease therapies. The Swiss based company leverages expertise in drug development, drug formulation and drug delivery within a unique business model that connects discovery research products from start-ups and universities to larger pharmaceutical companies who make medicines available to patients worldwide. His role englobes the management of the various Life Science activities of Debiopharm including drug development, drug formulation & manufacturing and digital health investment. Having joined Debiopharm in 1995, his work in various roles has contributed to two blockbuster therapies for cancer patients, oxaliplatin and triptorelin, along with a potential 3rd blockbuster drug currently in phase III research in Head & Neck cancer with an international partner. Debiopharm’s pipeline includes 15 ongoing programs in various stages of development with the aim of curing cancer and infectious diseases through innovative cellular targets and novel modes of action. His educational background includes the School of Pharmacy of Lausanne University, Switzerland followed by a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Dr Sager received his Diploma of Chemist from the University of Lausanne in 1996 and then obtained his Ph.D. in Peptide Chemistry, in 2001. He joined Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing in 2001 as QC Engineer. In 2004, he became Manufacturing Director, taking over the responsibility of the production. In 2011, Dr Sager took the Direction of Operations of Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing SA and he became CEO in 2012.

Dr Paradies obtained his PhD in Biotechnology and Virology from the University of Bari in 2002 followed by an executive MBA in Entrepreneurship & Management of Technology form the EPFL-HEC Lausanne and Red McCombs School of Business Texas in 2004. He started his career as a Project Manager and Business Developer for several biotech companies. He supported the valorization of technologies at the Geneva incubator for life sciences start-ups, vesting various responsibilities. Between 2005 and 2007 he was also Coach in Life Sciences for the Swiss Confederation's Innovation Promotion Agency (CTI). He joined Debiopharm International SA in 2007 where he worked as Alliance and Licensing Manager for several years within the Business Development & Licensing department, playing a key role in negotiating deals and partnering. Associate Director and Head of Commercial Alliances-BD&L, he committed to optimizing commercial alliances and to creating new commercial partnerships for both Oxaliplatin and Triptorelin. He became Director Industrial Business Development & Global Commercial Alliances of Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing SA in 2018.

Dr Marguerettaz received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1987 and a Ph.D. in Protein Chemistry in 1993 from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh (PA). She joined Debiopharm International SA in 1998 as Development & Process of API Manager. In 2001 she became Biotech API Contract Manufacturing Manager. She took over the responsibility of Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing’s Quality Control as QC Director in 2005, and she became Regulatory, Optimization and Industrialisation Director in 2011.

Dr Galy received his Diploma of Industrial Pharmacy from the University of Lyon and obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and DESS quality, in 1991. He later specialised in Forensic science in Paris V - 1995. He joined Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing SA in 1998, first as Operations Manager and as of 2000 as Director of Manufacturing Operations. In August 2005, he took over his current responsibilities as Logistics & Strategic Planning Director.

Dr Garrouste completed his M.Sc. in Biochemistry and his Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry at the Université des Sciences et Techniques du Languedoc (USTL) in Montpellier, France (1995). He then joined the Institute of Organic Chemistry, Lausanne, Switzerland, where he was First assistant from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, he joined the Pharmaceutical Development Department at Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing SA. He held first a position of Analytical Development Assistant followed by a position of Head of Analytical Development (2001). In 2004, he took over the responsibility of the department as Drug Research & Development Director.

Mr. Salvagni received his Chemical Engineering Diploma from the "Ecole d'Ingénieurs de Genève" (E.I.G.) in 1999. He recently obtained an Executive MBA in MoT (Management of Technology) from the EPFL in 2015. He acquired a broad experience essentially in R&D and production at OM Pharma and Vifor Pharma in Geneva. He then joined Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing SA on April 1st 2015 as Director of Operations.

Mr. Imboden received his Master Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Lausanne in 1999. He achieved a «Brevet Fédéral de Spécialiste en Gestion des Ressources Humaines» in 2004. He joined Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing in 2001 as HR collaborator. In 2002 he became HR Manager and in 2004 he took over the responsibility of the administration department as Administration & HR Director.

Mr. Centelleghe obtained his BS Mechanical Engineering in 1991. He achieved his Safety Engineering Diploma in 2003 and holds an MBA from Geneva University in 2005. Mr. Centelleghe has acquired a broad experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry including maintenance, engineering, facilities and EHS functions at ORGAMOL and BASF Companies. He joined Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing S.A. in 2016 as Director of Technical Service.

Dr Vu received his Diploma of Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy of Lausanne University, Switzerland in 1994 and then obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1999. He gained a broad experience in Pharmaceutical Industry including Quality Assurance, Validation and Manufacturing activities at UCB farchim SA and Vifor SA. He joined Debiopharm International SA in 2008 as Pharmaceutical QA Manager/Qualified Person. Since 2010, Dr Vu has been heading Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing's Quality Assurance Department and acting as Qualified Person for Debiopharm Group. In 2012, he joined the Executive Board of Directors of Debiopharm Research & Manufacturing SA.
